Start with your work and home

Your tax depends in part on where you live and where you perform your work. Have your employment contract, start date and details of your homes in Denmark and Poland ready.

The Danish Tax Agency provides guidance on registration and tax cards. A tax card helps your employer withhold tax on the right basis.

Follow up when things change

The preliminary assessment is a budget for your income and deductions for the year. Review it when you start a job, change your hours or move. Keep payslips and a calendar of working days in both countries.
